![]() So if I need to I can put my Milwaukee batteries on the Ryobi tools. Another upside is you can get adapters for Ryobi tools that will let you use nearly any of the other 18v/20v batteries. But at a price that's much harder to swallow for the couple of times a year I'll use them. Sure Milwaukee makes better versions of them. Like the fan, caulking gun, shop blower, chemical sprayer, etc. I look to Ryobi for occasional use tools. They aren't going to be the most powerful, but they'll get the job done on a budget. Looks like they also have a misting fan now.Īs far as the rest of their tools go, they're going to be fine for general homeowner stuff. It can also be plugged into an extension cord. Then unlike any of the others they have a big fan that performs similar to a standard box fan. Equipped with 3 speed settings and a 160° pivoting head, the airflow can be customized to direct the air where it’s needed. Designed for use with a 20V HERCULES Battery, this fan can also be powered by a 120V extension cord. ![]() Now part of our WHISPER SERIES, this fan is 44 quieter with 24 greater air velocity to keep you cool no matter the application. This high-efficient fan moves up to 300 CFM for a cool work area. You can also plug an extension cord into it when you don't want to run on battery. RYOBI introduces the 18V ONE+ Cordless Hybrid 7-1/2 in. They have the cheap little fan that's good for personal use. ![]() We get blackouts and it's hot in the summer lol. Enhance performance and comfort on hot work days with the 20V MAX Cordless Jobsite Fan which delivers a powerful, concentrated air flow. My plan would be to get like a half dozen or a dozen batteries, always keep them charged and they are ready for use with tools or fans/lights for emergencies. Because maybe 18V is better for the fans so I might decide just to go with the 18V milwaukee fuels for example.Īlso would like one or two lights from whatever I buy too, also for emergencies. I think all of the tool brands make their own fan versions but if it comes down to it, I might wind up standardizing on the one with the best fan because if the drills and saws are pretty much the same but the fan is worlds apart, that might be the sinker for me.Īnd it may make me decide on 12V versus 18V in the same tool line. I have been leaning towards Milwaukee, idk maybe because I like the color red lol, but they seem to be one of the more favored brands here and have a nice mix of tools. I'm looking to get a few portable battery powered fans, mostly for emergencies in the summer and also I am simultaneously looking to buy some cordless power tools. ![]()
